Not too long ago we had South superstar Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya and his actress-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu aka Samantha Akkineni giving each other fitness challenges. The fitness challenge #HumFitTohIndiaFit started by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore seems to have gained quite a bit of momentum with many Indian celebrities extending their support. Now yet another actress, who has ventured into South and Bollywood industry – Rakul Preet decided to take up this challenge.

This co-star of Naga Chaitanya also went on to challenge her friends from the fraternity which includes her Aiyaary co-star Sidharth Malhotra. Rakul Preet also challenged another South-Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu and South actress Lakshmi Manchu. The video, which was posted on Twitter by Rakul, featured her doing exercises to showcase her fitness.

Interestingly, Rakul Preet Singh was nominated by none other than popular Indian badminton player Kidambi Srikanth for this fitness challenge. While both of them thanked Rathore for this initiative, Srikanth also challenged another South-Bollywood star Rana Daggubati. Besides the two he challenged former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

On the Bollywood front, Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee. Post that the actress is said to have signed Akiv Ali’s next to be produced by Luv Ranjan. It stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles and is said to be an urban rom-com.
